Our History and Vision

How did YY Packaging start?

We started as a small family business in Dongguan with a clear vision: to provide high-quality release materials at fair prices for global customers. Over 10 years ago, we began with just one production line; today we supply over 500 customers in more than 30 countries.

What has kept with us to this day is the conviction: Quality is the soul of packaging. Without stable release properties, our customers’ end product doesn’t work — we understand that better than anyone.

What differentiates YY Packaging from other suppliers?

We focus exclusively on release materials — this is our only business. That means we can invest 100% of our resources in improving products and processes.

Another important point: We understand that global customers have different requirements than local Chinese customers. We offer faster delivery, more flexible minimum orders, and better technical support.

Industry Trends

What important developments do you see in the release material industry?

The industry is developing in three directions:

1. Higher Precision: With the development of the electronics and automotive industries, the requirements for uniformity and precision of release properties are increasing. Tolerances are getting tighter and tighter.
2. Sustainability: More and more customers are asking for more environmentally friendly materials and production processes. We are already working on water-based silicone coatings and recyclable materials.
3. Custom Solutions: Standard products often aren’t enough anymore. Customers expect customized solutions for their specific applications. That’s something we do very well.

How is YY Packaging preparing for these trends?

Every year we invest a portion of our revenue in new equipment and research and development. Our lab constantly tests new materials and coating processes. And we keep our production flexible so we can quickly respond to customers’ specific requirements.

What does quality mean to you personally?

For me, quality means: Every batch must have the same specifications as the previous one. Our customers must be able to rely on their production running the same every day — no interruptions caused by poor materials.

That’s why we have a strict quality control system: Every batch is tested before it leaves the factory. From raw material selection to final packaging, we control every step.
